J's Bday AND Italy

Jason's birthday is April 8th, which was Easter Sunday this year. I am all about celebrating holidays on our own, it makes it feel special...to me. :) So, before we headed down to Zion's, J and I celebrated his birthday on Thursday. Just him and I.  We woke up early and I gave him his presents to open. They were NO surprise because he bought them all off the internet. HA. Shopping is easy with him- "J, go get what you want, but you cannot open it because it is not your birthday." That is kind of what the conversation sounds like:) At least he gets what he wants? He makes my job easy.
He bought himself a new wallet, bike helmet, dress pants, dress belt, and pocket knife. Sounds like a good bday to me?! He spoiled himself. haha.

After opening presents, we made our way to Salt Lake City for THE BEST breakfast you could ever imagine. ORIGINAL PANCAKE HOUSE!!! Yum :) I was introduced to this beautiful restaraunt in Colorado and it has become a tradition of scrumptious bliss. We enjoyed our carb overload with huevos rancheros, pumpkin pancakes, and buckwheat pancakes. The food was divine! We didn't eat for the rest of the day:) We were that full.

It looks really gross, but I promise it is GOOD!
We are in the process of looking for apartments in SLC so we stopped by an apartment we have had our eye on. We loved it, it sounds like a REALLY great deal. It is a 1 bedroom (which sounds small to me, but I will live) 1 bathroom, new countertops, and awesome carpet. J always notices the carpet:) We will wait to see what we do with selling and if we live in those apartments.

We did some birthday shopping for J-Bake, we stopped by Nordstrom Rack, the mall, and his favorite store- REI. It was a great day to spend together. Happy 25th, lover!

We traveled to Italy and back Monday night!!! Ferrin's, Lively's, and us ate at Gloria's Little Italy. Talk about yummy Italian food! It was amazing, there was not one dish that we were disappointed with. We celebrated Rhett, Katie, and J's birthdays. We realized that we traveled, through our taste buds, to Mexico, Sri Lanka, and Italy all in one semester- we ate well:) It was a great last night to celebrate together. The Ferrin's are moving to Orlando to sell security this summer. And, we are moving to SLC. It was our last hooray, which is sad to think. We have had a great semester hanging out with those two couples. We would get together and laugh A LOT. Anna and Rhett- you will be missed, keep in touch. Katie and Tyler (matt)- enjoy Provo for us all.
