Christmas 2012

Christmas festivities are what get me into the Christmas spirit. This year, we went to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas concert with Ang & Spencer. Alfie Boe is incredible. Look him up on youtube. We walked around Temple Square and saw the beautiful Christmas lights. We watched plenty of Christmas movies and the list goes on and on.

Christmas this year was spent with the Bakers. When we are here in Utah for Christmas, I make it a point to spend time together to have our own Christmas, as a couple. It will ease the transition when we start to have kids:)

On Sunday, Christmas Eve Eve, we had a nice dinner that Jason picked out. We had pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes, and asparagus with shallots. It was divine! Afterwards, we read Luke 2, then watched, "A White Christmas" while our cute Christmas tree shined in the background. We slept in on our Christmas morning and woke up to presents galore! J set a budget, but blew it out of the water. He spoiled me with new skis!! I love them. We got a 'couple' gift and bought ourselves a  road bike trainer for during the winter. I got J a golf club, clothes, shoes, Jazz tickets, and whatever else he wanted. I only get what he picks out- there's new surprises here. It makes for an easier Christmas morning:)

My parents got us a GoPro 3. J is stoked!

After we celebrated together, we headed up to Liberty. We had the traditional Baker dinner of steak and lobster and then hung out. The next morning, Stephen called bright and early. We skyped with him for an hour and a half. He is doing great! We opened presents and just relaxed the rest of the day. We made our way to Jackson Hole the next day to watch Tyson in his Christmas play and to ski Jackson as a family. It was cold, but fun! I was sick- that wasn't fun!!
