Red Fish Lake

Bakers are known to be some pretty adventurous people; always traveling and looking for a fun outdoorsy vacation. Well, I was lucky to head off to Red Fish Lake, ID with Cindy, Ricky, and Ang. J couldn't go due to selling. He is a trooper and works really hard. I am grateful for that! Thanks, love! Our vacation was only 3 days because we are busy folks; wedding plans need to be completed and jobs and apartments to be found! We drove up there on Monday, got there about 6:30. We set up camp and made the ever famous Baker camping dinner........TACO soup! Ha. Cindy even said it herself, "we always have this when we camp." She is correct, we always do. The best part about making dinner is that we forgot the propane tank for the stove, therefore we used a backpacking stove. It's itty bitty, but worked like a champ. After dinner, Ang and I (no guys needed here) started a fire and ate smores.

Beautiful.

Dinner time.

Ricky relaxing while the women cook...
Tuesday was a packed day. Cindy, Ang, and I spent a few hours swimming in the lake! It was pretty cold, but it felt good because it has been SO hot. We swam and ate lunch at the beach. Ricky kind of did his own thing. (not quite sure what that is) :) After swimming, we went for a bike ride and hiked up to a stream. It was gorgeous weather all day. THere was a fire a few miles away, so it was hazy, but still beautiful area!

Ang made a friend, he never left our side;)

Kind of hazy...

Ang only brought a backpacking towel. HA!

Love this shot.
Ang and are were trying to get a shot with the mountains in the back and us doing cannonballs off the dock. Didn't work out too well. But, we had fun trying! We played a game to see who could get up from the water onto the dock. I won, but Ang tried hard;)
My ever popular peace sign in pics...

Shot a little early...

Me winning the game.

This is the best shot. Ha.

Showing that we truly are girly when we camp. Pink and purple!

This is Ricky's thing...relaxing.
It was a good camping vacation. A little mountain biking, hiking, and swimming. If you haven't had a chance to go to Red Fish, GO! It was beautiful. It is the new official spot for the Baker family reunion. Fun!
