Liberty Reunion

Jason has grown up with a great group of friends, the coolest part about it is that they have stayed friends throughout the years! They went to college together, lived together, sold pest control together (only a few), and now are all happily married!
It is cool that we are all in the same time of life. The Wadman's and Quist's are a few steps ahead of us, but do NOT worry, we will catch up to you one day. It'll be fun when one day all of our kids will be playing together. We got together over Christmas and decided that we would like to do a yearly get-together with all of us, at least once a year. That is not too much to ask, right?!
Well, this year was the Baker's year to plan. We had to stay close because J is selling and has to sell on Saturdays. The rest of us headed up to Bear Lake Friday night. We ate great food cooked by the Dove's and did what we always do- played games! Groups & Runs, Liar's Dice, and much more.
Saturday- the weather was cloudy in the morning, we waited patiently for it to blow over. We headed over to the Wadman's condo and sat in the hot tub and swam. We took a daring plunge into the COLD Bear Lake and ran right back to the hot tub. The women beat the guys in volleyball. VICTORY, VICTORY, VICTORY! It was a lot of fun! We were happy that Heather and Chase joined us for the festivities. After volleyball, we just hung out and got fried in the sun! Oops.
We waited for J to get up to Bear Lake and we headed over to Lakeside Pizza for some dinner. Of course, we had to get a LeBeau's shake. It's tradition! After shakes, we played more games. We are good at that;)
Sunday morning was spent cleaning up the condo and checking out. The Dove's and Morby's headed home and the Wadman's and us went to church with Brad's family. After church, we hung out and ate dinner with them. It is always fun to catch up with Brad and Teri. It is too bad that they live so far away. We need to be better at driving down to St. George for a long weekend. We promise we will do it soon!!!
I am grateful that J has kept close to these great guys because they have married wonderful girls. It is fun to get together and share stories, experiences, and triumphs. Thanks for the fun weekend everyone! Hope to see you guys over Liberty Days for the 4th!
